Eliza MacLean,
owner of Cane Creek Farm, didn’t learn sustainable farming in a
classroom. She developed an appreciation for nurturing animals and land
when she lived with an Amish family in high school. Now her training
from an heirloom culture is helping save an heirloom breed of hog. She
joins host Frank Stasio to talk about animals, food and her circuitous
path to farming.
