Part of our purpose at Cane Creek is educating the community about sustainable agriculture and healthy food systems. We often do this through tours, which allow the public to see our animals and husbandry practices, our conservation easement, and our rotational farming systems, including our gardens. Read below about our tour policy, which we have created to bring more people to Cane Creek. Please email us if tour dates don’t work or if you would like to discuss other viewing options.
Tour Policy: We give a free guided tours of the farm twice per month. Typically one Saturday and one Thursday per month, both during store hours. Please contact us for the next tour date. Space is limited so we suggest that you let us know you are coming, so we can confirm your spot ahead of time.
If you are unable to attend our group tours, we can still show you around the farm. As you can imagine, there’s always plenty to do with our animals and gardens, and we therefore ask for a small donation for private tours ($7 per person).
If you visit our store during store hours (but not on tour days), we’ll be happy to show you around the immediate pens, pastures, and garden- free of charge. There are always a number of animals to see in the vicinity of the Farm Store.
Group and School Tours: Please email us about bringing groups to the farm, as we can tailor our tours to certain interests and can also include lunch. Email us about prices.
Again, feel free to email us with any questions about viewing the farm.
