Ross Flynn just arrived at the Cane Creek Farm Store with a stash of hams and bacon. I dont know about you, but I’ve been looking forward to getting my hands on some melts-in-your-mouth Cane Creek bacon. It sells out fast, so if you just have to have some, I suggest that you find yourself at the Farm Store, Carrboro Farmers Market or Greensboro Farmers Market in the near future. Would you believe I have some out of town family members who wanted to know if I would give them Cane Creek bacon for Christmas? I kid you not.
I poked my head in the store freezer today and let me say those hams look mighty enticing. In fact, one came home with me this evening, along with the bacon to appease my relatives.
Eliza MacLean says: “We’ll be attending this week’s market (19th) in Carrboro and in Greensboro, and January 2 in Carrboro. We have 30 more turkeys, cured hams, some bacon, beef tenderloin, export racks (pork loin with bone), shoulder, fresh hams, whole ny strips and ribeyes, short ribs, etc. Our store will also be open on this Thursday 2-6 and Saturday 10-4, but not on Christmas eve.”
