It’s that time again! We are hosting our Final Banquet of the summer on Saturday, October 16, 2010. The weather will be beautiful, the food will be amazing, and I hope all of you can come. This is going to be a dinner party hosted by Mark Twain, who has written half of his newest book – Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. And he needs your help to finish the story.
America’s Eating Disorder – an all day workshop! Sept 30th, 2010
Join us for a day long workshop dedicated to understanding what's wrong with the US industrial food system, how we got there, and how we can move to a healthy, sustainable model to nourish our families and our future generations. Cost is $100/participant and includes morning lectures in Burlington, lunch on the farm in Snow Camp, afternoon tours and hands-on education, and a wine and cheese party in the evening.

What a great evening. It was wonderful to see all of you out there last Saturday in Saxapahaw. The Big Fat Gap band played a lively and entertaining set. We chatted with friends, snacked on our delicious little golden bite-sized tomatoes, enjoyed a little goat cheese and local wine we purchased from other market vendors. Oh, and we sold the delectable bounty of our gardens.
